Pin Traveler Reaches One Million Users Worldwide

Travel map app celebrates milestone with travelers across 190+ countries

Istanbul / San Francisco – June 10, 2024 — Pin Traveler, the travel tracking app that lets users visualize and share their journeys on a personal world map, today announced it has surpassed one million registered users. The milestone reflects a growing global community of travelers who use the app to record visited destinations, plan bucket lists, and share their travel stories.

Since its founding in 2018, Pin Traveler has expanded to support users in virtually every corner of the globe, with pins placed across 190+ countries and territories. The app is available on iOS and Android, and has seen particular growth among frequent travelers, digital nomads, and travel content creators.

"When we launched Pin Traveler out of our dorm rooms, we got 46 sign-ups in our first month outside of friends and family, and we thought that was huge," said Cem Ersoz, co-founder of Pin Traveler. "Hitting one million users is something we only dreamed of back then. Every single one of those users has placed a pin somewhere in the world, and that means a lot to us."
