Gyeongju (경주시, 慶州市; formally romanized as Kyongju ) is in North Gyeongsang province, South Korea. The capital of the Silla Kingdom for approximately the whole first millennium CE, Gyeongju is definitely worth visiting if you are at all interested in Korean history. : P70 : P8
